Mrs. Ramirez's Class
Announcements
March 4th-8th
Well......this weather really was the pits this weekend but it ended up being a pretty nice lazy weekend. Hope you all stayed cozy and warm. Also, I can't wait to hear about the girls' Helping Hands Ball!
This week is pretty routine- yay!!
On Wednesday we get to see the 2nd grade musical, Arf! We're excited to see Pagie, Madelyn, Hayes, and Nicholas' brother and sisters up on the big stage! There's also a conference taking over our Library on Thursday and Friday so our library time will be rescheduled. Once I know the day, I will let you know.
This week we are wrapping up the end of Quarter 3...crazy!
What we're learning:
Phonics: Floss rule( double the s,f,z,l at the end of 1 syllable words) along with -all. (ball, fall, mall)
Math: Fractions: equal parts, halves and fourths
Writing: animal research books
Social Studies: Texas symbols
Just a reminder, KITE Days are March 13th-15th. Please check with your child to find out which day is their kite day. I hope you are able to join!
Let me know if you have any questions and have a great week!!
Thanks,
Katy

I was born and raised in the small town of North Texas, Bowie. After graduating Bowie High School, I moved to *lovely* Lubbock, Texas to attend Texas Tech University. Four years later, with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Science, I packed my bags and headed to Austin! (the best decision I ever made!)
Unsure of what I wanted to do next, I started nannying for a wonderful family and their 3 rambunctious boys. After a lot of thinking, I realized teaching was calling my name. I went back to school and, at the same time, began working here at Bridge Point. This is my fifth year teaching First grade and I can't tell you how much I love what I do! I look forward to learning more about your child and your family! My husband Mikey and I, love to travel and camp! We've got 3 little puppy children(yes, 3! We're crazy!!): Maudie, Waylon Jennings, and the newest addition, Ruby. We're also expecting our very first human baby this September! |
